Geelong Basilica debut performance

Founded in 1962, the Tudor Choristers with Music Director Dr Kathleen McGuire on September 15 made their first appearance in Geelong in the Music at the Basilica Seasons Series curated by Frank de Rosso OAM at the magnificent Basilca of St. Mary of the Angels. The program titled "Lauridsen the Mystic" featured music by composer Morten Lauridsen (pictured), including Lux Aeterna and O Magnum Mysterium. According to the composer, this program is likely the first time an Australian choir has program of his works.
