PARIS 2018 ANNOUNCES NEW AMBASSADOR FOR CULTURE, DR. KATHLEEN McGUIRE

PARIS, FRANCE (21 MARCH 2017) Paris 2018 is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kathleen McGuire as Ambassador for Culture.In her new role, Dr. McGuire will be a key member of the organizing team for Choral and Orchestral events, offering master classes, conducting rehearsals and concerts, and providing expertise to the Paris 2018 Culture Team. Kathleen's career as a conductor, composer and educator spans more than three decades and six countries. She has earned multiple music degrees, including a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Kathleen brings a distinguished history of involvement with the Gay Games, GALA Choruses, Various Voices, Out & Loud Festivals, LGBTQI bands and orchestras, as a leader of Gay Games Cultural Festivals in Sydney and Chicago, and has also served as the Federation of Gay Games Cultural Officer.
